Standard trips are those that depart early morning to early afternoon from a marina or boat launch within 50 miles of our home base at Port of the Islands Resort and Marina – including Everglades City, Chokoloskee, Goodland, Marco Island, Naples, Bonita Beach, and Estero. These charters are categorized as half day, a minimum of 4 hours on the water, or full day, a minimum of 8 hours on the water. I emphasize “minimum” here, because I will do whatever it takes to make your trip an enjoyable and memorable one, even if that includes fishing a little overtime to find the hot bite.
Also note that the clock doesn’t start running on your trip until we are ready to go fishing. So time spent catching bait on the way out, or idling out the Faka Union Canal to the fishing grounds is not included in the allotted time for your charter.
In addition a normal day fishing charter, I can accommodate almost any special request for a specific type of fishing trip, or to target a given species or special seasonal fishery. Some examples of other fishing charters I provide include:
